Virtual Lobby Day – Clean Energy Jobs Act

Every year the environmental community convenes in Springfield for a lobby day, where we talk to our legislators about vital bills, and rally for a healthy, livable planet and communities. This day is key to passing strong environmental bills, and showing our power as a movement. We know doing this day virtually will be a little different, but we believe it will still be powerful and engaging.
On virtual lobby day, you’ll have the chance to talk to your state legislators face-to-face (via zoom) about the need for climate action, a just transition, job growth grounded in racial + economic justice, consumer protection, and more! This is one of the most impactful things you can do to help pass legislation! You’ll also get to meet other activists from your area, and join a virtual rally!
Here’s what to expect:
We’ll be in touch to connect you to a lobby team guide who will let you know when your meeting with your legislators is and how to access it. It will be sometime during the day on Thursday Nov. 12.
We’ll keep you updated with training materials and opportunities and other ways to take action leading up to Lobby Day.
