As part of the Village’s commitment to becoming a SolSmart designated community, the Village is hosting a Solar Ambassador from the Illinois Solar Energy Association on Monday, March 18 at 6 PM at Village Hall (510 Green Bay Road). Solar Ambassadors are volunteers who help educate residents about solar power and answer any solar-related questions.
ISEA Solar Ambassador Peter Gorr will present “Powering Your Home with the Sun.” This non-technical presentation will cover the basics of residential solar systems, including actual results from his experiences of converting his last 2 homes to solar energy. This presentation is open to the public and all residents interested in solar energy are invited to attend.
