What: Learn how to grow a sustainable vegetable or rain garden in your yard
Join us as we explore a neighbor’s unique community garden in Park Ridge.
Nan and Chris Parson are generously opening up their yard to visitors, helping us learn how to create a sustainable vegetable garden without using any harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Did you know the Parsons have one of the only community gardens in Park Ridge?
Eight families, including a 4 year old, are maintaining their own vegetable gardens in the Parson’s yard—come learn how they do it. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported a million miles away!
Greenwise Organic Lawn Care & Landscape Design and The Parsons will be on hand to answer any of your questions about sustainable practices and taking an organic approach to your lawn.
Snacks and drinks will be served!
