Pumpkin Composting – Village of Wilmette

If you can’t compost your pumpkins in your backyard compost container, and don’t have a yard waste/compost toter, bring them to the Wilmette Village Hall parking lot on Nov. 9th from 9am – 3pm so they can be commercially composted. Remove all candles and non-compostable decorations. Do NOT put pumpkins in curbside leaf piles or in your regular trash toter. (If you do not live in Wilmette, check your community for pumpkin composting programs).
