Protecting the night sky from light pollution is a critical mission that supports human health, preserves wildlife habitat, and provides visual access to celestial objects for professionals and amateur astronomers alike.
Adam Kreuzer will discuss how all of us can fight light pollution and save our dark sky. Kreuzer, a delegate with the International Dark Sky Association (IDA), has lived in Glen Ellyn for more than 30 years and is a former chair of the Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission. The IDA leads the way globally in the mission to preserve the night sky.
