Urban Ecology of Coyotes

March 18, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Cook County’s coyotes are the most studied population of coyotes in North America. Join us as we follow the trail of coyotes studied by wildlife biologists working in the Forest Preserves through the Urban Coyote Research Project. Negin Almassi, Forest Preserves of Cook County Naturalist, will discuss  coyote behavior and ecology, how we can live with coyotes and what coyotes have to teach us. She will dispel myths and offer essential information to insure possible interactions with coyotes are uneventful.

This program is cosponsored by the Friends of the Green Bay Trail and the Glencoe Park District.  More information is at gbtrail.org and Facebook.
