ComEd has just launched a “Solar Calculator” to help you consider your roof top solar options. It is based on your roof and your actual household electrical usage. Visit ComEd’s website to see how your house rates for solar. The ComEd calculator is not a substitute for an on-site analysis by a solar expert, but might be a good first step. If you find you are not a good candidate for rooftop solar, then be sure to sign up for the Wilmette Community Solar Project.
