Glencoe has created an event to help residents make available for reuse items they no longer need.  Hosted by the Glencoe Sustainability Task Force, the fourth annual Donate and Recycle Drop-Off event, is an effort to divert reusable and recyclable items from going to landfills. Several charities participate in the event, and make use of or recycle the items that are collected. The event takes place a week before spring clean up day in the Village.
