The Friends of the Green Bay Trail celebrates its 10th anniversary with a review of its beginning to today’s greatly appreciated healthy habitat. What began as a spontaneous small volunteer effort to remove buckthorn trees has evolved into an extensive restoration of a long-neglected portion of the Green Bay Trail. It is now a valued North Shore recreational asset and a destination location to relax, refresh and restore. The Friends will share beautiful images of people enjoying the Trail last summer, highlights from its fall Photo Contest and its plans for the future.
