Chase Funds Climate Chaos: Black Friday Action

JPMorgan Chase is the super star of fossil fuel funding.  Last year they financed $51.3 billion in this extraction industry.  The growth of the fossil fuel industry depends on these funds, and there is a grassroots effort sponsored by Stop the Money Pipeline to halt this flow of money into fossil fuel industries.  Stop the Money is also targeting Wells Fargo, Citibank and Bank of America all of which have huge fossil fuel investments.

Chase customers and local citizens are teaming up with this campaign and hosting a protest in the park one block from the Chase Bank on Central St. in Evanston.  Spirit, Song and Speakers will precede a short walk to the bank to deliver a letter asking Chase to desist from funding the fossil fuel industry that is so linked with the Climate Crisis.

Bring children & friends, a poster if possible (some will be available). Your presence is so important.
