A Women’s Exchange Program
Along with globalization and technology, climate change directly and indirectly affects the migration of people across the globe. As we continue to witness more frequent and severe weather events, people will increasingly be forced to migrate in order to survive. Yet there is little policy-related discussion centered on the relationship between climate change and migration. This talk with Megan Klein, PhD will examine with us the connections between climate change and migration and discuss climate policies as they relate to migration. Dr. Klein will also include discussion about the humanitarian crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border and its connection to climate change.
