Dig It Yourself Plant Giveaway

Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and the Kenilworth Clippers Garden Club are teaming up to repurpose plants.
What does that mean for you? Some established plants that you can dig up and reuse (we’ll be there to help). All we ask is a small donation to the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse.
Did you know the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse is a non-profit organization that deconstructs homes and re-uses the materials?
When deconstructing a home, the plant material can get destroyed. That’s where Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and the Kenilworth Clippers Garden Club come in. We are trying to save the plant material by giving it a home. Ideally, your home. You dig up the plants you want, and Greenwise will haul away whatever plants are left over.
Come see what we’ve got—lots of ferns, hostas, ground cover, raspberry plants, yews (if you’ve got some serious muscle), and other bushes, all for the taking. We cannot guarantee the quality of the plants, so dig at your own risk, and first come, first served. Bring your own gardening tools.
