Gillson Park Bird Habitat Appreciation Gathering and Final Workday

Join Go Green Wilmette for a chance to learn about and appreciate Gillson Park’s beautiful bird habitat on our last official workday on Sunday, October 11, anytime between 9 am and noon.  We will offer socially distanced tours from local experts, who will teach us a bit about seed spreading, plant identification and the importance of native habitat. Tours will begin at about 10:10 am, 10:50 am, and 11:30 am. Please come and enjoy it in all its autumn glory, and don’t forget your mask. (The habitat is located along Michigan Ave. south of Lake Ave.)

 

Thanks to our many volunteers for helping us keep this lovely space in great condition. We will have tools available for those who wish to do a bit of habitat maintenance. Please wear a mask and gardening gloves.
