Join the Sky Day celebration this September 20! Sky Day is a day to reflect on what our climate and sky mean to us all. A day to make art about it, talk about. A day to write to our leaders demanding wise energy policies. A day to do science about it and most of all a day to re-dedicate ourselves to doing what we can to help reduce our own carbon footprint. Take part in the inspiring Sky Day Project to show you care or try some of these other cool Sky Day activities. Maybe come up with your own a way to celebrate our one, shared sky. Whatever you decide to do, remember how precious our sky is, how delicately balanced and how it connect us all as one global family, living and breathing under one, shared sky.
As SkyDay’s Astronaut Nicole Stott famously said “It is humbling to consider that the only border that matters is the thin blue line of our atmosphere that blankets us all.”
