Topic: Getting your suburb ready for Electric Vehicles
The meeting will focus on how your group can help get your suburb ready for the transition to electric vehicles. The Metropolitan Mayors’ Caucus EV Ready program provides tools to help put in place the policy and infrastructure for electrification. Electric car shows provide a good opportunity for people to see many different vehicles in one place, and hear from vehicle owners about their experiences driving electric. Now is the time to think about organizing an event for the spring. We will briefly review policies for municipal fleets and building codes changes. Guest speakers will teach us about these ideas and more in January. We hope you will join us!
