Green Drinks: Bringing Solar to Evanston
Evanston’s Climate Action Plan calls for the City to achieve 100% renewable electricity supply for all properties by 2030. Although purchasing renewable energy credits (RECs) has played a large part in working toward this goal, the City also will also look to onsite generation of renewable energy through sources such as wind, solar and geothermal installations. This Green Drinks discussion will look at the potential for different types of solar power in Evanston.
