Harms Woods Habitat Preservation Workday

Join Wilmette’s very own Karen Glennemeier at Forest Preserve Habitat Restoration workdayon Monday, Jan. 21 (Martin Luther King Day) starting at 9am. Meet in the parking lot called Harms Woods South, Groves 1 & 2.

You’ll be helping to remove invasive species, mostly buckthorn, and burning the unwanted branches. Tools will be provided. Wear warm clothes, boots and work gloves.
