Natural Lawn Care Workshop

The Midwest Grows Green Lawn & Land Forum invites you to its upcoming Natural Lawn Care Workshop on Monday, November 13^th, 2023 at the Urban Ecology Center’s Riverside Park location in Milwaukee, WI.

This morning workshop will cover the practices, equipment, products and approaches to eliminate synthetic pesticide and fertilizer applications on sports and recreational fields. Each speaker will share success stories of implementing soil health and natural lawn care principles on highly trafficked turfgrass fields. Speakers include Wisconsin Sports Field Management Association’s Michael Krupke and BioGreen Organics’ Dan Neilson. This session will include a demonstration of soil and site assessment techniques by MGG’s Technical Assistance Program team of Ryan Anderson and Vytas Pabedinskas.

We highly anticipate that attendees will leave with the necessary tools to manage their greenspaces without synthetic chemicals and pursue Green Shield Certified for Landscapes.
