Sustainable Yard Walk – Park Ridge

Go Green Park Ridge and the Park Ridge Sustainability Commission are proud to announce their first annual Sustainable Yard Walk on July 14, 9AM- 1PM, rain or shine. The walk is free to all to enjoy. Visitors can expect to reimagine a “perfect” yard. The six featured yards on this walk will highlight features such as native plantings, no-mow grass, a bioswale, vegetable gardens, an in-yard composting system, permeable pavers, a pond, a pocket garden and more. We hope you will pick up tips to use in your yard!
