Join the global beach clean up movement right here at Gillson Park. Small pieces of plastic have washed up on our beaches – dangerous for kids, dogs and us! Bring a hand-held sifter if possible, a bucket and reusable gloves. (Plastic gloves and bags will not be supplied!) Meet near the dog beach.

We’ll meet just north of the wildflower garden at Washington and Michigan Aves. We’ll be moving some plants from areas that are dense to areas that are a little more bare.
